Revisiting Old Friends

This is a redo of a sketch I did earlier this year.  Never fall in love with your drawings and always look on how to improve them.  Not over-render, but improve.  The original sketch captured some of the likeness but it lacked the "oomph".

Frazetta was famous for redoing and painting over his paintings.  Some were really good as they were but some were turned into true masterpieces.

Never be totally satisfied, ask yourself how can this be better and what does it need?  Even as I look at this picture which arguably holds up better, I can already see areas that I could improve.

Keep on drawing! Keep on creating!
